Audubon Golf Trail Vacations
Play all thirteen Audubon golf courses; twelve months a year
The same things that make Louisiana a “Sportsman’s Paradise” make the thirteen courses of The Audubon Golf Trail a “Golfer’s Paradise.” Louisiana’s subtropical climate makes it a year-round destination. Summers are long and warm (average temperature is 82°) and winters are mild (average temperature is 50°). In short, the greens are always green here. We think that you will find the twelve hand-selected member courses of the Audubon Golf Trail quite exceptional.
The Audubon Golf Trail was named for naturalist/artist John James Audubon who, enchanted by the natural beauty of Louisiana, painted a number of his famous bird studies here. Coincidentally, all the courses on the trail are members of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary for Golf Courses, a program dedicated to protecting the environment and preserving the natural heritage of the game of golf.
